Working in collaboration the teams from Leeds Teaching Hospitals (LTHT), Bevan Healthcare (BH) and The Hepatitis C Trust were out on the streets of Leeds raising awareness about hepatitis C to the general public.

Using the Bevan Healthcare outreach vehicle, the team based themselves in the city centre not far from Leeds Market and provided advice and information to the public.

During the session the team tested 20 individuals, those who were tested received a voucher from The Hepatitis C Trust.

20 clients were assessed and screened for Hepatitis C  with 7 PCR positive identified and put forward for Hepatits C treatment.  All clinets signed up for the Hep C Trust ‘Follow me programme’
